To ensure that, we have developed the following Preparedness Plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our goal is to mitigate the potential for transmission of COVID-19 in our workplaces, and that requires full cooperation among facility users and management. Only through this cooperative effort can we establish and maintain the safety and health of our workers and workplaces. PLEASE READ THE DOCUMENT BELOW THAT OUTLINES THIS PLAN. COVID-19 UPDATE WRIGHT COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH Wright County Public Health has noticed an increase of COVID-19 cases associated with youth sporting events since the start of August. The cases include athletes and coaches. Athletics is an important part of many people's lives. We also recognize that participating in sports during this pandemic puts athletes, coaches, teams and entire families at an increased risk for the virus. One person's decisions can impact an entire team or sport. Please take your responsibility seriously and continue protecting one another. If you have COVID-19 or suspect you may have COVID-19, it is extremely important that you follow the isolation and quarantine guidelines from your health care provider. Do not participate in sporting activities during the isolation or quarantine period. Wearing a mask in public places, social distancing when possible and staying home when you are sick are the key things you can do to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is not just athletics where we are seeing cases for STMA area. However, for the age group that is returning to school (under 18) it is where the majority of cases are coming from. STMA is the only community in Wright County to see as many athletic exposure cases in the past month across a variety of sports. You may complete any virtual CEP session from any location - yes, even in Alaska! Coaches should complete the next level CEP class - not apply for the temporary card. With the uncertainty of the current situation with COVID19 we have made the decision to CANCEL any volunteer hours left for the 2019/2020 season and shred ALL CHECKS with outstanding hours.
